We just need a basic website to display info. We also need to create Flyers, Brochures, Coupons, News Letters to send out to our customers. We asked the web designer if we could create more new web pages, create menu navigations for the web pages, or update the web page content. He said no we can´t. We have to create a list of all the things we want to change, contact the webmaster and pay him to do it for us. Else, just leave the website alone. We ask the web designer WHY?
The challenges
He answered because in order to satisfy our simple needs, he had to build in the website CMS or Content Management System. A feature that needs the web editor, like myNet.Word, in order to design and edit the webpages, flyers, brochures, news letters. CMS also needs the database, like myNet.Dbase, in order to store the web page, flyers content in database for retrieving webpage content when needed. This is impossible for his company to build.
