myNet.Office Web Edit is a browser-based, web content editor designed for dynamic Web sites. It lets you create and publish your own web content in any language supported by the operating system and your web site. myNet.Office Web Edit also allows you to edit documents online with whomever you choose, and then publish them online.

myNet.Office Web Edit, like many other word processing applications, with 70 edit icons, allows you to add Text, Color, Code View, Pictures, Fonts, Tables, Weblink to your webpages, and Catalog... It is as easy to use as MsWORD. Right click in the edit area will pop up the property of table, column, row, cell. You can also do Copy, Paste, Undo, Redo, Delete, Insert Picture, Insert Hyperlink, Remove Hyperlink, Find and Replace, Marquee, Bold, Symbol, Print, View, Select All, Erase, Number, Bullet...myNet.Office Web Edit will take care all of the design of text, graphic, color, font... for your webpage.

 Adding Text, Pictures, Colors, Fonts, Size, Tables

It is simple. If you know to use Ms Word, you know how to Use the web editor and its icons.

ADD Text, Size, Fonts, Colors Use these icons => See the right hand column.  High light the text. Then Select Fonts, Size and Colors.	: Use this icon for Text color. : Use this icon to make background text color. : Use this icon to make text bold. : Use this icon to make text italic. : Use this icon to make underline.
ADD Colors  High light the text. Then Select Colors from the color table =>. Note: You can Select Color for the Table, Background, Row...	: Use this icon for Text color
ADD Pictures. When click on this icon, a dialog popups ( see picture in the right). Use Browse button to select the picture you want to insert. Click OK when done. Note: You can specify Alternate Tex, Layout and Spacing of picture.	: Use this icon to add Pictures.
ADD Table, Cell, Row, Column Use table to layout webpage with the Text or Picture evenly. Click on table icon. A table dialog popups. Select how many Rows, Cols, Width, Layout, Spacing for the table. Note: You can also select Properties of table by right click on the table. You can also Add Rows, Columns to the table. ADD Hyper link to other Webpages, or Websites, or Email link. For example to hyperlink this text "Go to IBM website" Highlight the Text Go to IBM website. Click on this icon to open Hyperlink Editor. Type: Select http as protocol. Target: Select open IBM site as new window, same window... Link: type www.ibm.com Direction: Select Left to Right (must select) Click on OK is done. Other selections are option.	: Use this icon to add webpage or website link.
CODE View  code view icon If you are web developer, click this code view  icon let you do HTML programming and view source code of the webpage. You can change, edit or write code.  Click the same code view icon to switch back to the normal view. This is a powerful tool if you have web design skills.

 Add/Create Table, Cell, Row, Column and Its Properties

Tables are a great way to display data in an organized fashion. You also use tables to divide your webpage into sections so that the information on your Web page looks better. As example, if you look at the table below used to display the information of Create Table into 2 columns and 1 row.
myNet.Office Web Editor allows you to create tables that contain any number of columns and rows.

 

Add/Create Table (Create/Add table icon) Click on table icon. A table dialog popups. Select how many Rows, Cols, Width, Layout, Spacing for the table. Note: You can also select Properties of table by right click on the table. You can also Add Rows, Columns to the table. Select different colors for background, foreground of Row, Column, Cell and of table.

Delete a table

 Highlight by click on the selected cell or row, or column of that table -> Select delete icon Cell or Row or Column one by one. Or you can select Cut.

Table Property (table property icon) In the window edit area, click on the selected table you want to modify -> Click on this table property icon. A table property dialog popups. There are many options you can do with this selected table. When creating a table, you can specify the: number of rows and columns  width, height horizontal alignment on the page background color or background picture border size and color... Cell Properties (Cell property icon) A table includes many cells. For example, this table includes 2 cells. The Cell Properties dialog box lets you manipulate most elements of a cell‘s appearance. In the window edit area, click on the selected cell of the table you want to modify -> Click on this cell property icon. A cell property dialog popups. Delete, Insert Cell, Row, Column

  Click on the selected cell or row, or column of that table -> Select delete, or insert the Cell or Row or Column icon of that table one by one.

 ADD Email Link, Text Link, and Webpage Link

ADD Hyper Link to another Website. 1) High light the text to hyperlink to IBM website for example. 2) Click on icon . 3) A window opens a list of hyperlink information, type in http://www.ibm.com 4) Click on Target pull down list, Select how to open webpage, either in another window, or in the same window. . 5) Select Direction pull down list: Select Left to Right	: Use this icon to add Webpage, Website link or Email link.
ADD Hyper Link to existing Webpage or a download File. For example member Login page is MemberLogin.jsp in C:\mynetoffice\webapps\ROOT\member\MemberLogin.jsp. You will do: 1) High light the text Member Login 2) Click on hyperlink icon . A window popups. Select Type: http 3) At Link field type: /member/MemberLogin.jsp (case sensitive) 4) At Target field, Select none - none, Same Page: to open same webpage. - new Window: to open new window webpage. 5) NO Direction field 6) Click Ok Note: You can break the hyperlink by high light on the text, and select the break-hyperlink icon
ADD Hyper Link to a Virtual Webpage A Virtual Webpage is a non-existing webpage that data and information, text, picture... saved in database. Unlike MemberLogin.jsp, it doesn't have a file name. For example member Login page MemberLogin.jsp in C:\mynetoffice\webapps\ROOT\member\MemberLogin.jsp is an existing webpage. The Home the main menu, or About Us, or Contact Us, the sub-menu of Home main menu, are virtual webpages because their Text, Picture... are saved in the database table named MYFLOWERS. To hyperlink this virtual webpage Contact Us , you will do: 1) High light the text Contact Us, and click on Hyperlink icon. 2) At Type: Select http 3) At Target, Select new Window 4) At Link type: Webpages.jsp?menuid=1_2 (no spaces) => Because the page Contact Us = template file Webpages.jsp + menu id= 1_2, the second submenu of [Home] main menu. 5) At Direction, select Left to Right 6) Click OK
Hyper link a Text to Email. Example: Make email link to the text "Sales Department" to hyperlink to Email when Customers click on and sent email. 1) High light the text Sales Department 2) Click on hyperlink icon . 3) Click on Type pull down list.  Select mailto: 4) At Link type in: info@abccorp.com

 FTP: Upload your Site to an ISP's Server
